Roses, Thorns, Buds
This is a worksheet I got from Habi Educational Lab website. I find it as a useful tool for a motivational activity. According to Habi Lab here's how to use it:
In fact, we used it in our oral presentation in Educ 5 when we presented Test Construction to our classmates. We had them write their positive experiences during exams under roses, their negative test experiences under thorns, and how they think they could improve on those experiences under possibilities.
The goal of the activity is to help the class recall the different types of tests they took as students. It will also help them evaluate the validity or reliability of the tests/exams they took. The presentation aims at helping them either to confirm or disprove these impressions.
Lastly, the activity intends to help future educators plan or think of better ways to improve the current assessment practices in our educational system.

Of course, this worksheet can be used in other lessons requiring students to reflect on their past experiences and think of how those experiences can be improved or enhanced.
